Delivery in demo mode
No medicine is ever packed, dispatched or delivered. Delivery fees, delivery areas, rider names and estimated times shown on the site are sample values used to demonstrate the workflow.
Who fulfils an order
In the production model each order is fulfilled by the single pharmacy it was placed with. A cart may only contain items from one pharmacy at a time, so responsibility for every order is unambiguous.
Medicine returns
Medicines are generally not returnable once they leave the pharmacy, for safety reasons. A real deployment would accept returns only for wrong items, damaged packaging, or products that are expired or near expiry on arrival, reported within a short window and verified by the pharmacy.
Cancellations
An order may be cancelled before the pharmacy marks it as packed. After dispatch, cancellation depends on the pharmacy. In the demo, staff can move an order through the full status flow, including cancellation.
Refunds
Demo mode is cash on delivery only, with no payment taken, so no refund can occur. A production build would refund an approved return through the original payment method after the pharmacy confirms receipt.
Prescription rejections
If a pharmacist rejects an uploaded prescription, the related order is stopped and nothing is charged. The rejection reason is recorded and shown on the order.
